Mindful Self Care & Mindful Dudes*

*Mindful Dudes Camp uses a modified version of the activities listed below.

Celebrating Our Senses, Part 1: An exploration of sensations that feel soothing to our nervous systems.

Activities: face/hand “mud” masks, making essential oil rollers/spray.

Celebrating Our Senses, Part 2: Continuing the exploration of sensations that feel soothing to our nervous systems.

Activities: mindful listening, mindful seeing scavenger hunt, creating vision board collages.

Dreams & Moon Cycles: An exploration of dreams as information; the waxing and waning of the moon.

Activities:  journaling, making dream catchers, setting new moon intentions.

Wilderness: An exploration of our wild side; nature as medicine; animal symbols & their meanings.

Activities: a walk in the woods, drumming, running wild, dancing, face painting.

Pouring From a Full Cup: An exploration of spreading kindness to others.

Activities: random acts of kindness, warm fuzzy jars, chalking sidewalks, tea party.

Each day also includes mindful eating, mindful “sit” practices, mindful movement, and play!

Mindful Self Care II: Balance

Our Sensory Experience + Doing: An exploration of interoception and our nervous systems.  We will learn to use action as a practice and mindful movement + affirmations as self care.  We will celebrate the joy and power of body/mind strength.

Activities: interoception game, movement, scavenger hunt, sun visualization.

Dreams + Being: An exploration of dreams and their meanings. We will learn to use rest, allowing, and journaling as practices.  We will be curious about our dream experience and the power of stillness.

Activities: pictionary with a twist, two truths and a dream, making essential oil dream spray, moon visualization, shimmer body paint, breathing practice to support sleep.

Balance; Doing and Being: An exploration of practices that center us.  We will invite in a grounding practice and celebrate growth as we learn what it feels like to use balance as self care. 

Activities: minute to win it games, yoga, planting seeds.

The feminine: An exploration of our intuitions and the unknown.  We will notice how it feels to lean into the mystery of our experience.  We practice giving and receiving love as self care, and we celebrate creative expression.

Activities: art, random acts of kindness, tea party.
